Pizzeria napoletana · Napoli
The menu turns like a real card: the sections at the top are pages, not anchors. Allergens written out in words under every dish.
Barra de pintxos · San Sebastián
Dark theme, Spanish as the main language and half plates with their own price: the Spanish format, not a translation of the Italian one.
Osteria romana · Roma
Two hundred metres from the Colosseum. The homepage says what the place does not do: no touts, cover charge stated, a short menu. In that area it is the strongest argument there is.
Trattoria di famiglia · Bologna
The dish of the day follows the days of the week, as trattorias have always done: today highlights itself. Plus a section for people arriving with children.
Ristorante sul lago · Lago di Garda
The first one with a full menu and filters: vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free. Allergens spelled out and the key to the fourteen at the bottom.
Coastal Italian · New York
A presence-only site in a single language: big photography, little text, one goal — booking. Lighthouse 100 across all four categories.
Demonstration projects: the venues’ names, addresses, histories and prices are invented as examples.
